چکیده
AAOC: acral angioosteoma cutis BMP: bone morphogenic protein PG: pyogenic granuloma VEGF: vascular endothelial growth factor INTRODUCTION Googe et al in 2006 first described 11 cases of acral angioosteoma cutis (AAOC), characterized by benign vascular and osseous lesions on acral skin. Since then, there have been only 3 additional cases reported. This friable erythematous exophytic papule has clinical resemblance to pyogenic granuloma (PG) but has distinct histologic features. Therefore, it is crucial for dermatologists to be aware of this condition, as it is rare and likely often misdiagnosed. To our knowledge, this case is the first report of AAOC in pregnancy.

Acral Angioosteoma Cutis
Acral angioosteoma cutis is a rare disease first described in 2006 that is characterized by vascular proliferation with ossification at the acral area, and which bears clinical similarity to pyogenic granuloma. However, there is no lobular pattern in the capillary proliferation that is a typical histopathological feature in pyogenic granuloma. Metaplastic cutaneous ossification is associated wi...

Superficial acral fibromyxoma (SAFM) is a rare fibromyxoid mesenchymal tumor with a predilection for the distal extremities and frequent nail bed involvement. Superficial acral fibromyxoma typically arises as a solitary, slow-growing nodule on a toe or finger, with the great toe being the most commonly affected site. Histopathologically, SAFM characteristically presents as a well-circumscribed ...

Superficial acral fibromyxoma (SAFM) is a rare myxoid tumor that was first described in 2001. The presence of a very slow growing solitary tender mass in the subungual area is the typical clinical feature at presentation. Histopathologically, SAFM is composed of stellate cells in a myxocollagenous matrix with a poorly circumscribed margin. This tumor is thought to be benign, but its natural cou...
